Folk Song and Dance Ensemble “Ziemia Bolesławiecka”

The Song and Dance Ensemble „Ziemia Bolesławiecka” is one of the oldest folk groups existing in Bolesławiec county. The group has won many awards on national level and has participated in numerous festivals in Poland as well as overseas. Our dance ensemble has performed in former Yougoslavia, USSR, Czechoslovakia, Croatia, Bosnia, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Spain, Germany, Czech Republic and many others. For over a dozen years the group has been run by Elżbieta Tor.

One of the main group’s missions is promotion of polish folklore among local societies as well as abroad. ​We also create special dance shows. They are not meant only to entertain but also to educate. Like for instance “Gals & Flower Crowns” and “Wedding Variations” to the music of Piotr Rubik.
