Seventeen Polish universities showcased their educational offer to visitors from Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries at the 14th edition of the popular education fair Study in Europe which was held online on September 26th this year. At the Polish booth, the fair visitors had the opportunity to learn about the Polish educational system, areas of study and courses taught by Polish universities in English as well as admission procedures through real-time consultations with NAWA and university experts.
Opening the webinar Study in Poland Discover Europe, Ambassador Magdalena Bogdziewicz stressed a wide educational offer of Polish universities and the good quality of education. She pointed out that the offered education profile includes specialized, innovative, technical courses and thus fully meets the needs and challenges faced by most developed economies.
Ms Grażyna Żebrowska, Director of the National Agency for Academic Exchange, who co-hosted the event, emphasized the growing interest in taking up studies in Poland by international candidates who can, when appropriate, benefit from the robust scholarship support system.
The virtual fair, with a record high partcipation of Polish universities, allowed for a comprehensive presentation of the Polish higher education offer for foreigners. The lively discussion was fostered by the presence of Singaporean students, including the NAWA “Poland My First Choice” scholarship holder, who shared their positive experiences during studies in Poland.
