JAKUB JÓZEF ORLIŃSKI
Countertenor

Jakub Józef Orliński is one of today’s most popular opera stars, known worldwide for his performances on stage, in concerts, and through recordings. His tours across Europe, America, and Asia regularly sell out and attract new audiences to opera. Recent albums #LetsBaRock (2024) and Beyond (2023) continue to be featured in international tours through the 2025/26 season.

He has won major awards, including Opus Klassik Male Singer of the Year (2023) and the BBC Music Magazine Award (2024), and has received two Grammy nominations.

Orliński is especially admired for his distinctive countertenor voice and expressive style. His performances often centre on Baroque music, particularly works by Handel and Purcell, where he combines vocal clarity, emotional depth, and dramatic intensity. Beyond opera, he has a strong global following and has collaborated with major brands like Rolex, Netflix, and Nike. He is also an accomplished breakdancer, contributing to his unique stage presence and broad appeal.

In the 2025/26 season, he will tour Europe with his #LetsBaRock project, perform at major venues like Wigmore Hall and Wiener Konzerthaus, and appear in works such as Handel’s Messiah, Semele, and Giulio Cesare.
