It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 5^th Poland SHIOK Festival.

Year 2021 marks the 100th birth anniversary of Stanisław Lem, one of the most respected thinkers and science fiction writers of the past century. In his numerous works he explored the possibilities of artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and genetic engineering. His predictions of the future world were very accurate. That is why, cooperation on innovations and creative industries will be the main area of focus during PolandSHIOK 2021. Series of business webinars will cover cooperation in e-commerce and video gaming industries, and will address role of visionary in development of new technologies in today’s world. Funs of video games will be offered some extraordinary adventures with world-wide known Polish titles.

Our cultural agenda will comprise film festival, featuring works of Krzysztof Kieślowski, technology and exploration-related photo exhibitions, both online and onsite, and virtual concerts with Frederic Chopin repertoire. Our guests interested in learning more about this famous Polish composer and Chopin’s Competition to be held in autumn this year, will be offered the opportunity to join virtual tours to the sites related to the life of this renown Pole.

Continuing our PolandSHIOK traditions, festival will offer the best tastes of Poland to our guests during culinary promotions organized in partnership with local restaurants. This year Polish eggs, Ayam Polska and Babi Polska will be in focus of menu ‘From Polish farm to Singaporean tables’ specially crafted by Singaporean chefs.
