CHUREN LI

Widely regarded as one of Singapore’s leading pianists, Churen Li creates performances that blend classical repertoire, contemporary music, and her own compositions into a single, deeply human narrative.
She has appeared with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, opened its concert season with Grieg’s Piano Concerto, and performed at Singapore’s SG60 National Day Parade. In 2025, she premieres a new piano concerto by Jonathan Shin with the SSO. Her recordings include two albums of original music reimagining classical pieces, Ephemory and LUNA, as well as Spectrum with violinist Stanislav Pronin on Sony Classical.
A graduate of the Yale School of Music and the University of Cambridge, she holds Master’s degrees in both music and philosophy. She is currently Artist Faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and Artist-in-Residence at Sunway University.
Churen is also the founder of Classical Music Adventures, an interactive classical music experiences, and the CHUREN Prize, supporting young pianists and newly commissioned Singaporean works.
