ARTISTS

Katarzyna Borek is a highly acclaimed Polish pianist and chamber musician who has grounded her performing career in Europe. She is a finalist of the International Ferruccio Busoni Piano Competition in Bolzano, Italy (2005) and the winner and a laureate of several national and international piano competitions. Apart from musical awards, she received a number of cultural awards, including the Prize of Minister of Culture and National Heritage “Young Poland 2010” and artistic scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Culture and National Heritage for outstanding musical achievements. She has performed at many international festivals worldwide.

Elzbieta Woleńska is a dynamic artist who embraces both traditional and contemporary classical music. An avid performer, Elzbieta frequently appears as a soloist with orchestras in China, Europe, and the United States and with notable chamber music groups. Her repertoire includes compositions written for bass, alto, and piccolo flutes. Enthusiastic about new music, Elzbieta often collaborates with composers and is interested in performing jazz and contemporary music, including compositions with electronics. Her most recent performance accolade was her solo recital debut at Carnegie Hall on October 4, 2019. Elzbieta is currently the Professor of Flute at Zhaoqing University in Guangdong, China.
