Ambassador’s Message

Dear Friends,

This year, we are celebrating a very special milestone — the 10th anniversary of the PolandShiok Festival 2026!

Over the past decade, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Singapore has proudly promoted Polish culture among Singapore’s residents, sharing our traditions and the rich flavors of Poland, the country on the Vistula River. Each year, the festival attracts more and more people, which inspires us to keep expanding it with exciting new activities.

Festival’s program is filled with exceptional musical, culinary, and artistic experiences. We believe there is something for everyone, and we hope that through music, film, and cuisine, our guests will gain a deeper understanding of Poland — its history, its culture, and its stories. Perhaps this journey will even inspire some to plan a real visit to Poland and explore the beauty of our country firsthand.

The festival begins on April 12 with a spectacular concert by the outstanding countertenor Jan Józef Orliński, accompanied by pianist Michał Biel. After that, we have many wonderful moments ahead, including the thought-provoking concert “Chopin vs. AI” by Churen Li, and an extraordinary multi-instrumental performance by Professor Maria Pomianowska together with Singaporean artists.

In addition, the festival will feature film screenings, culinary experiences and fun-filled family activities during the annual event Polish Weekend @Stevens and many opportunities for networking and connecting with others who share a love of Polish culture.

I believe that Poland and Singapore have much to offer each other culturally, and that by exploring each other’s traditions, we can build a deeper understanding and stronger connections. Through festivals like PolandShiok, we aim to create lasting bridges between our societies, foster meaningful intercultural dialogue, and inspire further collaboration in music, art, and cultural exchange.

We warmly invite everyone to join us, share in these experiences, and celebrate the rich heritage and vibrant culture of Poland together.

Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and enjoy PolandSHIOK! Keep an eye on the PolandSHIOK website and follow us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates and event details.
